Having for years used different free and non-free backup apps, and never got real satisfied, I stumbled recently on Backuplist+ 8.2.2 made by Rob DuToit, and for now I have what I need. Its a free backup app with astonishing features, and it does all what you might ever need. Copy whatever from, wherever to, whenever you need it, files, folders, even your full disk. You can create any list for individual backups, and Backuplist+ will process it without fail, including hidden files (you might need an show hidden files app or script) or drop hidden files folders onto BackupList+, and you can add system and application preferences for backup, with the possibility to edit those for to exclude what you not need. You want to clone your Startup Disk? No problem, Backuplist+ does it!
